What You’ll DoAs a Business Analysis Manager for the Revenue Planning group, you will focus on driving improved forecast accuracy. This includes managing the bookings, revenue and unit signal alignment across functions for these businesses. We are looking for an experienced and highly analytical supply chain professional who has a strong background in forecasting/demand planning/supply planning/revenue planning - with a strong understanding of how to aggregate and action information from Sales, Finance, Manufacturing Operations, Partners/Customers, Pricing and Marketing and use advanced analytics to build the best possible bookings, build, ship, and revenue forecast. As a Business Analysis Manager, you will play a substantial role in improving the accuracy of the revenue plan that will drive the entire supply chain fulfillment engine through our internal and external Supply Chain Partners.
- Manage the Planning and Analysis to drive the BE/Product Family Shipped Revenue forecast and interlock between Supply Chain Operations, BU Finance, Supply Chain finance and corporate finance.
- Partner with Supply Chain fulfillment teams in Planning and Manufacturing operations to drive accuracy of forecast, attainment of the plan, Product Family and product line (BE/BSE) accuracy to enable the company's Gross Margin forecast accuracy.
- Partner with the Business Planning Manager in the Product Planning & Fulfillment organization in driving adoption of the driver-based framework for OPT level execution in alignment to the Corporate and BE Operating Plan
- Partner with Transformation team and Systems, Data and Analytics team to rationalize the tools, systems and data that enable accurate revenue planning and execution orchestration.
- Develop a rigorous training and onboarding curriculum for new hires in the Global Planning team to integrate into the Revenue Planning and Operating Plan process.

- You have 8+ years of experience in highly analytical roles with a mindset for solving analytical and sometimes ambiguous problems using a data-driven approach
- You possess strong analytical skills to assess, frame and drive data-driven decisions. You can lead efforts to build models to analyze “what-if” scenarios for dedicated planning purposes
- You have a proven ability to build elegant, user-friendly tools, models and/or applications and a strong track record of adoption by business users to drive value
- You can deconstruct a complex problem into a series of manageable questions which can be answered independently, and you can integrate the answers to these smaller questions and build a cohesive answer that solves the initial complex problem
- You have demonstrated the ability to rotate regularly across functions and are a fast learner who can ramp quickly and deliver outcomes within a short span of time
- You possess the ability to coach and mentor peers and juniors with data modelling and data mining exercises, while also maintaining the conviction to challenge senior executives using analytical and actionable insights. You can drive innovation and process improvement to improve forecast accuracy / efficiency
- You are capable of leading conversations to influence and drive better decisions with multiple stakeholders, often at the Director and VP levels
- You have a solid knowledge of how business is transacted through Cisco’s systems and overall IT architecture. You understand and align business needs to the IT architecture and ensure they support effective execution of the business
- You can confidently present your own position despite resistance or unfavorable reactions from others. You have the conviction to take risks, make decisions and escalate when needed to achieve desired business outcomes
- You can run or learn to run statistical simulations, reasoning of errors and build what-if models and you develop in depth knowledge of forecasting techniques, business models, cisco product landscape and accuracy measures
- You have intermediate understanding of accounting and financial concepts and understand, explain and influence driver-based demand - revenue - supply bridge.
