About The Position

The group is following all aspects of development processes that are governed and regulated by the automotive industry standards.

Responsibilities:

  • The technical project manager (TPM) will lead the HW development stream of Innoviz’s products.
  • You will act as a technical project manager and work in a matrix style with all RnD professional disciplines.
  • Working with multiple teams and disciplines in the RnD and Operations departments and responsible for being the connecting link between the different groups, Opto-mechanics, HW, System architecture, SW, and more.
  • You will have an end-to-end project management responsibility for the HW deliveries during the project.
  • As part of the HW deliveries, the technical project manager is responsible for the full design cycle of the HW, from the product and system requirements closure, HW design of the full system (optomechanical and electrical) and releasing all parts to production to full HW integration and bring up. HW deliveries are followed by a full validation phase including HW failure analysis and all according to customers' schedules and delivery plans.
  • Under its role, the technical project manager is responsible for following the design for manufacturing (DFM) practices and working tightly with NPI and production teams.
  • The technical project manager will be the point of contact (POC) in front of the customer on all HW-related topics, managing and monitoring the day-to-day activities according to the delivery and project plan and according to the company’s targets.
Requirements
  • Experience and proven track record with a similar role, large-scale project management with strong technical orientation in a multidisciplinary company – At least 3-5 years must.
  • Experience managing cross-functional programs and work plans.
  • Experience building and evaluating system-level technical design.
  • Experience developing and executing/delivering product and technical roadmaps.
  • At least 2-3 years with hands-on experience in HW-related roles (mechanical engineer / HW board designer / System engineer / or similar) – must.
  • B.Sc. In Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or similar from a leading university – must. M.Sc – an advantage.
  • Experience with HW development methodologies (SRR,PDR,CDR,etc) - must.
  • Experience in design for manufacturing, design to cost, design for testing practices (e.g. injection molding, die casting, Board design, etc ) – an advantage.
  • Experience and a strong background in the automotive industry – an advantage.
  • Experience with HW validation concept and methodologies – an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills (verbal and written – Hebrew and English) and ‘customer facing’ capabilities – ability to present and deliver technical content in front of global customers and company’s executives.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a multi-disciplinary environment with tight, fast-paced development schedules.
  • Time management skills and multi-tasking capabilities.
  • Team-oriented and good interpersonal skills, ability to work well both independently and as a part of a team.
  • Comfortable challenging peers and managers in a healthy and constructive way.
