Job Description
You will be responsible for executing in the maintenance, sales, and integration of the poultry devices such as in-ovo machines and breast injectors, sprayers, day old chick injectors as well as the Technology Solutions portfolio, including a monitoring and diagnostics tool. You will report to the EURAM Poultry Devices Lead.
Main tasks include, but are not limited to
- Maintain strong communication and cooperation with local teams and external stakeholders.
- Develop and implement equipment maintenance and calibration strategies, policies and procedures.
- Coordinate and oversee the maintenance, repair, and calibration of vaccination equipment.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and manufacturer guidelines for equipment maintenance and calibration.
- Manage the inventory of vaccination equipment, including procurement, storage and distribution.
- Collaborate with vendors to assess equipment needs, negotiate service agreements and troubleshoot equipment issues.
- Conduct regular inspections of equipment to identify potential problems and ensure safe and proper functioning.
- Develop and deliver training programs on equipment operation and maintenance protocols.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in vaccination equipment and recommend upgrades or replacements as needed.
- Monitor and analyze equipment performance data to identify trends, optimize efficiency and plan for future needs.
- Perform MAPP365 Evaluations during hatchery visits.
- Monitor and assist with monitoring and diagnostics tool in the field.
- Collect the needs of information from the local key account managers for long term devices pipeline.
Your profile
- Bachelor’s or master’s Degree, preferably a degree in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical), or Animal Science.
- Minimum 7 years of experience in the animal health industry, with a focus on poultry devices and Technology Solutions' portfolio.
- Strong technical understanding of poultry devices and their maintenance requirements.
- Experience in working in a matrix structure and a multicultural environment.
- Strong financial acumen with the ability to build and provide financial proposals to multi-country customers.
- Fluent in English and proficiency in at least one other European language.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to travel up to 80% of your time across EURAM region.
- Living in Europe/UK region, in one of the countries where our company has office presence.
