What you’ll do

As an IT Architecture - Security Senior Specialist, you are responsible for

• Live and breathe the security culture of SAP ECS and our strategic customers.
• Take responsibility for customer-specific security requirements and bring these to life.
• Contribute to the design and architecture of security solutions, the customer security roadmap, and work with respective providers to ensure on-time, first-time right implementation.
• Participate in the risk management, compliance, audit, and vulnerability management.

What you bring

Understanding of security risks, best practices, and solutions for the following technical layers

• Hyperscaler: Azure
• Database HANA
• Application: SAP platform security (ABAP, JAVA, Web Dispatcher), SAP BTP, cloud connector, etc
• OS: SUSE, Windows, Kubernetes
• Networking

Practical experience in network security topics

Solid understanding of authentication and communication protocols

Soft skills

• Demonstrates a strong commitment to customer satisfaction, placing their needs and preferences at the forefront.
• Possesses exceptional written, verbal, and presentation skills, enabling effective communication and prompt resolution of issues.
• Capable of explaining complex technical concepts to individuals without a technical background, displaying confidence and clarity.

Certification

• One or more relevant security certifications

Work experience

• 10+ years in a security role, being responsible for SAP applications and databases, OS, and network. 2+ years architecting security solutions
• Working in customer-facing roles, preferably at the executive level
