In this role you will:
Partner with key stakeholders on setting the strategic vision and theme for these events
Translate important theme and key talent messages into guiding selection of content and overall direction for the associate experience at the event
Oversee a team that has responsibility of managing all aspects of delivery of key events including budgets, scheduling, attendee experience and agenda
Draw connections between these 3 major events including audience and messaging and ensure best practices are being delivered across
Identify opportunities for other events or opportunities to engage these communities to further push on the talent agenda for their leaders
You’ll need to wear many hats including:
Project Leader: You’re detail- and process-oriented and adeptly manage several projects and initiatives at once with supportive direction. You have relentlessly high standards and attention to the smallest details with the ability to adapt to change quickly.
Problem-solver: You understand intent and goals for a project, propose plans to meet those needs, and autonomously pursue options to deliver results in a well-managed manner. You bring in data and metrics to ensure we’re working the needle and identifying insights.
Event extraordinaire: You know how to support complex events with a sharp eye on details throughout the entire process. You go above and beyond to exceed associate expectations and deliver best-in-class experiences.
Juggler: You don’t get overwhelmed or flustered easily. You seek guidance to reprioritize as needed to adjust with changing business needs, and take action with urgency as appropriate.
Valued partner: You have a proven track record of collaborative work relationships and you thrive in a matrixed environment.
Team player: You are highly motivated and willing to roll up your sleeves and get the job done, even in situations where the work is outside of the scope of your respective role.
Basic Qualifications:
High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent certification
At least 3 years of experience in Project Management or Event Management
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or military experience
Certified Meeting Professional (CMP) or Project Management Professional (PMP) Designation
2+ or more years of experience negotiating and executing contracts for associate events
4+ years of experience supporting senior leadership
4+ years of experience in Human Resources, associate experience, or associate engagement roles
