position is the highest-level Graphic Artist position. Primary responsibilities include the development of strategies and processes to be executed by the artist team regarding new labeling trade dresses, new packaging site requirements, and specialty projects per printing, packaging, and US Regulatory requirements. Collaborates directly with marketing teams, packaging sites, print vendors, and regulatory affairs (including pre-approval, post-approval, branded, OTC and specialty teams) as an AMT SME representative to provide solutions to highly complex and unique labeling challenges. Creates training material related to the strategies and processes developed including presentations, manuals, and styles guides in addition to engaging in one to one training sessions with the level 1 and 2 artists to ensure a cohesive understanding of the material.

How you’ll spend your day

- Independently, without supervision, utilizing appropriate hardware and software, incorporates Teva design standards, Regulatory CFR requirements and FDA recommendations for pharmaceutical labeling into the creation of print-ready electronic artwork for the most complex projects. Ensures artwork is created correctly and is technically sound to avoid printing issues. Maintains a Right First Time Quality rating of 95% or better.
- Creation and production of precise, complete, and press-ready labeling and packaging components for US marketed products, while ensuring adherence to federal regulations to meet deadline driven production schedules and support inter-department labeling needs.
- Uploads completed artwork into the Artwork Management System and launches the appropriate approval workflow. Following artwork approvals, collects and transfers artwork and essential support files for distribution internally / externally to print suppliers.
- Drives the development of artwork creation strategies and processes to be executed by the artist team regarding new labeling trade dresses, new packaging site requirements, and specialty projects. Collaborates with outside departments and agencies to find solutions for new projects from the ground up thereby becoming SME of new artwork creation strategies.
- Develops and maintains training material related to new and established artwork creation processes including presentations, training manuals, style guides and cheat sheets. Engages in group and one to one training sessions with artist team members to ensure up to date cohesive knowledge of all artwork creation processes employed by the group.
- Continually assesses current processes with regard to accuracy and efficiency of artwork creation and develops strategies to derive improvements.
- Proactively anticipates potential issues that may arise and initiates discussion with appropriate personnel to generate solutions promptly to support the completion of labeling artwork according to the established production schedule.
- Serves as an administrator for the AMT Artwork Management System and resolves issues associated with the adjustment or cancellation of workflows. The incumbent represents AMT as the Graphic Subject Matter Expert and represents the Graphic team on the artwork management system Managed Services Team. The incumbent is responsible for collecting, assessing and reporting back to team on any system related changes. The incumbent will identify and lead the evaluation and testing of any new or upgraded systems related to the Graphic processes.
- Establishes FTP sites as needs to ensure the secure, compliant transmission of electronic artwork to print suppliers.
- Assists with training and oversight of Associate l Graphic Artists and new hires to ensure compliance with all departmental and company SOPs, directives, and guidelines.


Your experience and qualifications

- University Degree in Graphics Production or related field or equivalent experience.
- Adobe Certified is preferred.
- 8+ years in production art or related field; understanding of brand strategies; experience with developing design projects per clients' needs from the ground up; multicolor printing from conception to completion; Mac OS platform; proficient with Adobe Creative Suite software; Pharmaceutical labeling, digital prepress or printing knowledge; artwork preflight; understanding of basic layout principles, design concepts, schematics and printer specs.
- Artwork comparison software, Project/File management platforms, PC platform familiarity, Place-It/CSAT digital print software.
- Advanced knowledge of printing processes and prepress standards for artwork file design/development.
- Proficient with industry standard software applications (Adobe Creative Suites, MS Office).
- Excellent level in English - reading, writing, speaking.
