As a Lead Automation Infrastructure Engineer, you will:
- Design and implement test automation frameworks and tools aligned with our tech stack (Java, React, Cypress, Playwright).
- Drive automation infrastructure initiatives including environment management, test data provisioning, and CI/CD integration.
- Collaborate with developers, QA, SREs, and DevOps to embed intelligent automation across the development lifecycle.
- Evaluate and introduce AI-based testing tools and practices to improve coverage, effectiveness, and efficiency.
- Own and manage test infrastructure on AWS, ensuring scalability, reliability, and cost-effectiveness.
- Develop dashboards and reporting systems to track test execution, quality trends, and automation health.
- Lead automation best practices across teams, mentoring engineers and supporting hands-on implementation.
You should apply if you have:
- 6+ years of experience in software test automation or infrastructure engineering.
- Strong programming skills (Java, JavaScript/TypeScript preferred).
- Proven hands-on experience with modern automation frameworks like Cypress and Playwright.
- Deep understanding of CI/CD practices and experience integrating automation into pipelines (e.g., GitHub Actions, Jenkins, GitLab CI).
- Solid background in AWS and test environment management.
- Experience with test data management and synthetic data generation.
- A track record of leading cross-functional initiatives and influencing without authority.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach.
- Familiarity with SRE/DevOps practices and infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform or Crossplane (an advantage).
- Experience with AI-powered testing tools (an advantage).
- Background in SaaS and/or enterprise B2B products (an advantage).
- Knowledge of observability tools and quality metrics (an advantage).
- Experience establishing automation platforms or frameworks from scratch (an advantage).
