Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain ETL processes for the DQ framework and automation - leveraging their experience & expertise in ETL tool (pref. Talend) & Database (pref. Oracle).
- Implement data quality solutions to ensure data accuracy and consistency from end to end.
- Develop data mappings, workflows, and transformations.
- Perform data profiling and analysis to identify data quality issues.
- Optimize ETL processes for performance and efficiency.
- Collaborate with core technology team, production support and other groups to ensure robust DQ controls are in place and best practices are followed.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope and communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders.
- Oversee the DQ implementation ensuring the development is as per the specified design.
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members. Provide training and support to users on data integration tools and processes.
- Ensure compliance with data governance and security policies.
- Create and maintain documentation for data integration processes and workflows.
Experience:
- Experience in data integration and ETL development.
- Some experience in a team lead or managerial role.
- Proficiency in Talend Data Integration and Talend Data Quality.
- Strong understanding of data warehousing concepts and databases (e.g., SQL, Oracle, MySQL).
- Experience with data profiling, data cleansing, and data governance.
Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
- Knowledge of Big Data technologies (e.g., Hadoop, Spark) is a plus.
- Strong leadership and team management abilities.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
Education:
- Bachelors in computer science or IT, Masters degree preferred.
