As an Infrastructure / Site Reliability Engineer, you will lead efforts to enhance the reliability and performance of our applications and infrastructure. You will be responsible for building, migrating and implementing robust systems, automating processes, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions. Responsibilities include:Automation and Infrastructure as Code (IaC):
-Design, build, implement and maintain automation workflows to streamline deployment processes, operational tasks, and infrastructure provisioning
-Advocate and implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles to ensure consistency and repeatabilitySystem Reliability and Performance:-Ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of critical systems and applications
-Implement monitoring and alerting solutions to proactively identify and address potential issues-Conduct performance analysis and implement optimizations to enhance system efficiency
Incident Management and Resolution:
-Participate in incident response activities, identify root causes, and implement preventative measures
Capacity Planning and Optimization:
-Conduct capacity planning exercises and optimize systems for performance and cost efficiency
-Implement strategies for auto-scaling and resource optimizationSecurity and Compliance:-Implement and enforce best practices for securing infrastructure and applicationsKey Relationships:
-IT Managers-IT Incident ManagersDue to the nature of the position, we are seeking experienced the following qualifications:
-Proven experience as a Site Reliability Engineer or similar role
-Strong expertise in cloud platforms and container orchestration
-Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash)
-Experience with infrastructure management tools such as Terraform and Kubernetes
-Experience with monitoring and logging tools
-Strong understanding of DevOps principles and practices
-Excellent problem-solving and communication skills
-Experience with Azure cloud platform
-Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and tools such as GitHub actions
-Knowledge of monitoring and logging tools such as Elastic Stack
-Site Reliability Engineer certificationsJob Description
