Technical engineering experienceOR Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
Experience with verification of hardware accelerators with System Verilog and UVM;
Other Qualifications:
Extended experience in micro-architecture, logic design and/or verification of ASIC/FPGA designs.
Ability to crisply articulate end goals and trade-off when faced with an engineering challenge that is not well defined.
Ability to meet Microsoft, customer and/or government security screening requirements are required for this role. These requirements include, but are not limited to the following specialized security screenings:
Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
Responsibilities
Define and Implement Design Verification Environments.
Implement coverage metrics.
You will ensure test requirements are documented and review plans to identify the right test equipment. You’ll also write design verification test cases, develop and execute test plans, and gather testing data.
You will conduct automated testing on standard products and participate in testing dashboard creation. You’ll identify common feature flaws using data analysis and validate features by helping build prototypes.
You’ll follow a project schedule as you deliver the hardware engineering aspects of a feature or product. You’ll also choose appropriate parts and evaluate the essential details of materials used in production.
You will help implement risk assessments, communicate team progress, and create detailed reports for features or extensions. You’ll also help develop training materials and document essential details.
