The selected candidate will:
- Delivers solutions or infrastructure services for SAP, such as Setting up Azure services, Configure, integrate them as per the needs of SAP.
- Develops and maintains solutions or infrastructure, ensuring compliance with the relevant standards
- Works with users to capture requirements and peer reviews design specifications
Your key responsibilities
- Azure Cloud: CLI, deployment and configuration of a wide variety of Azure IaaS + PaaS, Network Security Groups, App Gateways + WAF, Log Analytics / Insights (including querying), Identity and Access Management, Key Vault
- Containers: Docker, Dockerfile authoring, container build, security practices, Artifactory (Azure Container Registry, JFrog)
- Kubernetes: core concepts, cluster management + monitoring + scaling, kubectl, Kubernetes manifests, resource types, resource requests / limits, nginx / ingresses, networking, volumes, deployments + helm, Jobs/Cronjobs
- Azure DevOps (ADO): YAML pipelines authoring + consumption, triggers, integration with code quality tools like Mend, Checkmarx, SonarQube, etc.
- Git + GitHub + integration with ADO
- Scripting (any of): bash, PowerShell, python, node JS
- Ansible Tower (consumption)
Skills and attributes for success
- Certifications that are demonstratable
- Kubernetes: autoscaling, security context
- ADO API
- APIGee
- Grafana
- GitHub Actions
- Developer background
- Ansible Playbooks
- Azure Data Factory: deployment, GitHub / ADO integration
- Knowledge on SAP running on AWS/Google cloud will be an added advantage
- Knowledge on Azure Networking is an added advantage.
To qualify for the role, you must have
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, IT, Mathematics, or related field preferred
- Experience supporting a product development team.
- Strong experience in Azure Development/Administration
- A technical mindset with great attention to detail.
- Proven ability to interact and coordinate with teams in multi-site international locations.
- Open minded and results-oriented team-player with a can-do attitude and open for ad-hoc tasks and activities.
- Ability to conceptualize and communicate complex topics in a clear and understandable manner.
Ideally, you’ll also have
- Handle ambiguity and able to move forward with imperfect information and get things done in a rapidly changing environment
- Must be comfortable working in an environment where ideas are challenged;
