Description
Process Development: - Assess a technology risk considering optimum design for manufacturability. Plan validation exercises to demonstrate initial feasibility as well as manufacturing capability. - Review progress of development activities at supplier sites and serve as a point of escalation for critical process-related issues. Assign follow-up action items (as needed) to drive ongoing improvements for process capability based on process specification. - Analyze test and validation results to provide technical recommendations for manufacturing.International Travel Required (up to 25%)
Minimum Qualifications
  • 3+ years of experience with in-depth technical knowledge and proven track record in one or more of the following areas: Display/Sensor technologies (TFT, LCD, AMOLED, touch sensor, OLED), electrical, optical, and/or semiconductor processes.
  • Degree in Electrical Engineering, Optoelectronics, Material Science, Mechanical Engineering, or other relevant engineering degree.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Proven ability to drive vendor in quality improvements, familiarity with quality control and monitoring systems.
  • Capability to execute DOE, SPC, failure analysis, and yield improvement.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skill
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $119,900 and $181,000, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
