The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the Automotive industry and will be responsible for the following:
Ensuring that the products and services produced by the company meet or exceed customer expectations
Providing support for new parts approval processes
Handling customer RMA (Return Material Authorization) requests
Driving/coordinating semiconductor failure analysis of the returned from the customer.
Communicating with internal stakeholders to ensure customer satisfaction
Negotiating with customers about the progress of quality issues
Providing onsite support to customers as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or a related field
Minimum of 10 years of experience in the Automotive or related industry
Experience and understanding of semiconductor circuit and FAB/Assembly process.
Experience with new parts approval processes such as PPAP and other standard Automotive industry practices
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Willingness to travel as needed
Experience of cross functional team culture.
Key responsibilities:
Build strong working relationships with major customer stakeholders and in-house development teams to ensure transparent communication and support.
Coordinate activities to evaluate and resolve technically challenging engineering and quality-related problems encountered in the customer’s locations.
Create and review 8D report which should be compliant with customer demand and internal control.
Determine and collect relevant data for product and installation improvements, escalating issues when necessary.
Collect root cause analysis data and provide corrective feedback to prevent line stops due to quality issues.
Ensure that the products produced meet quality standards to minimize quality costs and maximize customer satisfaction while adhering to procedures and processes.
Control clean cut-offs throughout and manage containment while implementing ongoing corrective actions1.
Investigate reports of defective, damaged, or malfunctioning parts, assemblies, equipment, or systems.
Evaluate findings to formulate corrective action plans and coordinate implementation.
Collaborate in a team environment to develop and implement best practices in new product approval process.
Manage customer-specific requirements and offer technical support
Minimum Qualifications:
• Bachelor's Degree in Applied Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 6+ years of Quality Engineering or related work experience.
Master's Degree in Applied Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 5+ years of Quality Engineering or related work experience.
PhD in Applied Science, Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field and 4+ years of Quality Engineering or related work experience.
