The Ops Center of Excellence (Ops CoE), within the Regulatory Change Management Governance (RCMG) group, is responsible for the Legal & Regulatory Change Management (LRCM) process, supporting AWM and CCB. LRCM is the formal change management process for legal developments and/or regulatory changes (regulatory events).
Participants in the LRCM process include Business, Legal, Compliance, and Controls stakeholders. When the LRCM process identifies regulatory events which requires an update to processes, systems, policies, or procedures, each impacted business leverages existing change management processes to review the required changes and make necessary enhancements.
The RCMG Associate Process Manager supports AWM and CCB businesses to review, monitor, and report regulatory events. The Associate Process Manager will ensure regulatory events are properly captured, communicated, and distributed, working closely with business contacts to reconcile and address any process gaps.
Job Responsibilities
- Monitor for the publication of new regulatory events, which require reviews by impacted Businesses in AWM and CCB
- Facilitate meetings with Business, Legal, Compliance, and Controls stakeholders to discuss regulatory events and determine process impacts
- Create and/or maintain monthly reporting and related metrics for regulatory event activities
- Extract and/or review regulatory event reporting and analyze data to ensure operational objectives are met and instances of non-compliance are escalated appropriately
- Ensure regulatory events are entered in our systems (Spectrum and Control Change Manager (CCM) and routed to impacted Businesses for required review
- Serve as a liaison/support for Business, Legal, Compliance, and Controls stakeholders in response to inquires
- Maintain RCMG processes and controls and report gaps to leadership
- Assist in implementation of improvements to expand stakeholder understanding, acceptance, and adherence to the LRCM operating model
Qualifications
- 3+ years of related banking experience, within Control Management or working in Legal/Regulatory Risk mitigation, in some capacity
- Associate degree required; Bachelor preferred
- Strong communication skills (verbal and written) and ability to influence
- Detail oriented with strong organizational and critical thinking skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and prioritize work without oversight
- Self-starter with leadership, interpersonal, and project management skills
- Partnership-oriented, relationship builder
- Process design/enhancement capabilities with the ability to draft procedures/job-aids to accommodate new/existing processes
