Essential Job Functions

  • Drive the overall corporate development deal pipeline, including outreach to and sourcing of new opportunities.
  • Perform analysis, build models, and drive processes related to potential acquisitions and capital raising.
  • Support deal negotiation, due diligence and integration efforts of acquisitions, including coordinating cross-functional teams to evaluate targets (as needed).
  • Support the execution of critical corporate decisions, particularly related to returns, capital allocation, and investment strategy.
  • Conduct ad-hoc qualitative and quantitative analyses for strategic investment planning and organic developments.
  • Drive preparation of presentations for the Executive Leadership Team, Board of Directors, and other key stakeholders.

Duties

  • Manage modeling and support due diligence processes for new acquisitions by coordinating interdepartmental tasks.
  • Interact with finance organizations to model financing needs and structure for M&A and organic investments.
  • Own strategic planning models which inform Executives and investors (Board of Directors) of long-term business plan, equity requirements, and investment returns.
  • Prepare materials for internal review and regular updates with the Board of Directors
  • Make recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team regarding the company’s strategic purpose based on data, including capital allocation outcomes and strategic planning
  • Additional duties as assigned from time to time by CEO, CFO and other Executive Leadership Team members.
Requirements

Job Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, venture capital, or management consulting
  • Strong analytical skills, fluency in performing rigorous financial modeling, business valuations and pro forma operational planning.
  • Experience in a fast-growing, growth oriented company
  • An entrepreneurial and self-driven mindset, with the experience to identify & lead continuous improvement opportunities
  • Preference/tendency to use data to form opinions and highlight key trends, as well as focusing deeper analytic analysis to drive business decisions
  • Good communication skills - verbal, written & presentation skills with ability to transition seamlessly from complex analysis to simple/precise business implications
  • Strong customer service focus with a sense of urgency and excellent follow through
  • Relationship builder with the ability to establish a dialogue with leadership team members of potential acquisition targets.
  • “Senior executive” presence with strong influencing, relationship management and collaboration skills
  • M&A execution experience a plus
  • Experience in the Tech-enabled Professional Services industry is a plus
