Drive the overall corporate development deal pipeline, including outreach to and sourcing of new opportunities.
Perform analysis, build models, and drive processes related to potential acquisitions and capital raising.
Support deal negotiation, due diligence and integration efforts of acquisitions, including coordinating cross-functional teams to evaluate targets (as needed).
Support the execution of critical corporate decisions, particularly related to returns, capital allocation, and investment strategy.
Conduct ad-hoc qualitative and quantitative analyses for strategic investment planning and organic developments.
Drive preparation of presentations for the Executive Leadership Team, Board of Directors, and other key stakeholders.
Duties
Manage modeling and support due diligence processes for new acquisitions by coordinating interdepartmental tasks.
Interact with finance organizations to model financing needs and structure for M&A and organic investments.
Own strategic planning models which inform Executives and investors (Board of Directors) of long-term business plan, equity requirements, and investment returns.
Prepare materials for internal review and regular updates with the Board of Directors
Make recommendations to the Executive Leadership Team regarding the company’s strategic purpose based on data, including capital allocation outcomes and strategic planning
Additional duties as assigned from time to time by CEO, CFO and other Executive Leadership Team members.
Requirements
Job Requirements
2-4 years of experience in investment banking, corporate development, private equity, venture capital, or management consulting
Strong analytical skills, fluency in performing rigorous financial modeling, business valuations and pro forma operational planning.
Experience in a fast-growing, growth oriented company
An entrepreneurial and self-driven mindset, with the experience to identify & lead continuous improvement opportunities
Preference/tendency to use data to form opinions and highlight key trends, as well as focusing deeper analytic analysis to drive business decisions
Good communication skills - verbal, written & presentation skills with ability to transition seamlessly from complex analysis to simple/precise business implications
Strong customer service focus with a sense of urgency and excellent follow through
Relationship builder with the ability to establish a dialogue with leadership team members of potential acquisition targets.
“Senior executive” presence with strong influencing, relationship management and collaboration skills
M&A execution experience a plus
Experience in the Tech-enabled Professional Services industry is a plus
