Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.
- 10 years of experience in leading consumer electronic device product designs, involving multiple domains and developing product features, applications, or patents.
- 5 years of experience as a people manager in engineering, growing the organization, developing talents, and driving process improvements.
Preferred qualifications:
- 10 years of experience in consumer handheld/wearable product development, leading integration of multiple domains such as mechanical, electrical, RF, sensor, or software.
- Experience in the hardware product development process, from concept to manufacturing at contract manufacturers.
- Understanding of essential mechanical engineering tools and processes, such as TA, FEA, Moldflow, NUDDs, FMEA, DFM, and Reliability Testing.
- Ability to communicate well with cross-functional team members in Asia and the US, efficiently collaborate to achieve project goals, contribute positively to the engineering community, and influence stakeholders across the organization.
