This is client-facing ESG role in a rapidly growing practice, where you’ll build client relationships with key stakeholders, including management executives for some of the most globally recognized brands. It makes this the perfect place to gain a deeper understanding of complex businesses transactions, all the while recommending solutions to some of the most pressing business challenges and process inefficiencies. You'll also team with our performance improvement professionals in multidisciplinary engagements, helping major global clients transform and sustain business performance. An additional focus of this team is leveraging emerging technologies like Robotics, AI, Advanced Analytics to enhance various solutions being provided to the client, and actively work in building multiple tools and assets for efficient and effective client delivery. Solution growth and delivery

  • Lead and deliver the following indicative solution components: Sustainability strategy, reporting and assurance, Environmental, Social & Governance due diligence, Environmental Health & Safety (EHS) Management system design and implementation, Responsible sourcing and supply chain management, Climate change mitigation and adaptation
  • Conduct EHS Operational Audits, analyse EHS data and records to ensure the quality of implementation for EHS management systems
  • Set up a team of ESG analysts, assessors and ESG Analytics professionals
  • Thought leadership, research, exploring the business or macro-economic cases for ESG analysis and service offerings
  • ESG Assurance: Conduct ESG due diligence to screen entities and service offerings in ESG space
  • Good understanding of ESG principles, plans and issues adopted in the sustainable finance, investment decision-making process and ESG governance framework.
  • In depth analysis of ESG and global trends impact themes, its market potential and metrics that can be used to measure and report
  • Sustainability research and analysis of companies across multiple sectors on ESG indicators
  • Expertise in setting up the Centre of excellence for ESG
  • Accountable for revenue growth team expansion
  • Capability building based on the key ESG trends, development of in-house tools and accelerators
  • Documenting the best practices in ESG service offering and creating relevant collaterals
  • Research and analysis of companies across multiple sectors on ESG indicators including financial risk, corporate governance, environmental and social performance
  • Ensure & deliver desired quality levels across global engagements

Quality assurance

  • Independently manage client assignments with minimal supervision.
  • Manage multiple assignments and related project teams.
  • Coach/ train the team members on ESG specific engagements.
  • Meet quality guidelines within the established turnaround time (or allotted budget)
  • Constantly monitor project progress, manage risk and verify key stakeholders are kept informed about progress and expected outcomes.
  • Demonstrate application and solution-based approach to problem solving while executing client engagements and documenting working papers.
  • Anticipate and identify engagement related risks and escalate issues as appropriate on a timely basis.
  • Identify process gaps and accordingly provide recommendation in areas requiring improvement based on the client's business process and industry practice.

Skills and attributes for success

  • Exceptional command on spoken and written English.

  • Strong academic history (degree in Environment Science, MBA or similar work experience in similar industry, Big 4 preferred).
  • Proficient in MS-Office Suite, data analysis & validation.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to prioritize deliverables effectively in order to achieve optimum results.

To qualify for the role, you must have

  • More than 7 years of a “Big 4” or professional firm or professional industry experience in Sustainability / Responsible Sourcing / ESG mandates
  • Understanding of standards such as SASB, GRI, TCFD, CDP etc.
  • Experience in project management (scheduling, budgeting), contracting/ tendering is strongly preferred.
  • Strong academic history (MBA, Accounting, Engineering or similar). – Bachelor’s degree and above, with professional qualifications in ESG/EHS and Safety Management Systems, or related International Standards.
  • Strong multi-project management skills.
  • Skilled at collaborating, motivating and guiding high performance teams.
  • Cognitive problem-solving capabilities, quick decision-making skills and ability to handle complex situations with a calm demeanour.
  • Exceptional command on spoken and written English.
  • Globally mobile and flexible to travel to onsite locations.
  • Team player with strong interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to think differently and innovate.

  • Responsible for the performance and appraisal of direct reports, including training and developing necessary skill sets to enable them to grow in their careers.
