Primary Roles and Responsibilities:

• Responsible for working on customer escalations.
• Responsible for working in sustaining engineering activities like code debugging, bug fixing and HF delivery.
• You will be responsible to follow coding standards that include design doc, well commented code, unit tests, code review and customer doc update.
• Participating in daily customer interactions while working on escalations.
• Performing thorough problem analysis that results in resolution of product-related problems according to BMC support standards.
• Training and enablement for our Product Support TSAs.
• Engaging with R&D QA engineers during bug fix testing.
• Attending and contributing to daily stand-up.
• Showing leadership in the team and promoting teamwork spirit.

Requirements:

• 5+ years’ experience in full-stack development with enterprise software product development experience.
• Excellent communicator
• Experienced software developer in an agile development team using either Golang or Python.
• Broad range of skills and knowledge of operating systems (Unix & Windows), shell scripting and network protocols.
• Experience with test-driven software development
• Experience with code repository and issue tracking tools.

Desired Skills:

• Experience using and interacting with Amazon Web Services, Azure, Google Cloud.
• Experience in Kubernetes, Docker, Containers in general
• Software as a Service (SaaS) in general
• Experience in various Database technologies – Postgres, Oracle, SQL Server
