Review SOP’s , SLA’s , KPI’s and contractual terms against actual performance, identify gaps and corrective actions
Lead Warehousing Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and lead root cause analysis and implementation of recommendations across warehousing and logistics activities
Provide strategic guidance and coaching to warehousing management teams
Collaborate closely with logistics, transportation, and fulfillment teams internally and vendors externally
Collaborate on 3PL and freight forwarder strategies, including RFQs and contract development
Analyze spend, consolidate across suppliers, and develop sourcing strategies. Establish key performance metrics for suppliers and manage strategic contracts
Co-develop improvement projects within warehousing and transportation with internal stakeholders
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
5+ years of experience in vendor/carrier management within Supply Chain
Previous process improvement training and experience in a manufacturing environment
Black belt certification in lean six sigma methodologies
Knowledge of purchasing processes across procure to pay etc
Detail oriented, problem solving skills and an innate ability to root cause for solutions
