What You’ll DoWhat You’ll Bring
- Review SOP’s , SLA’s , KPI’s and contractual terms against actual performance, identify gaps and corrective actions
- Lead Warehousing Continuous Improvement (CI) initiatives and lead root cause analysis and implementation of recommendations across warehousing and logistics activities
- Provide strategic guidance and coaching to warehousing management teams
- Collaborate closely with logistics, transportation, and fulfillment teams internally and vendors externally
- Collaborate on 3PL and freight forwarder strategies, including RFQs and contract development
- Analyze spend, consolidate across suppliers, and develop sourcing strategies. Establish key performance metrics for suppliers and manage strategic contracts
- Co-develop improvement projects within warehousing and transportation with internal stakeholders
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Operations Management, Engineering, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of experience in vendor/carrier management within Supply Chain
- Previous process improvement training and experience in a manufacturing environment
- Black belt certification in lean six sigma methodologies
- Knowledge of purchasing processes across procure to pay etc
- Detail oriented, problem solving skills and an innate ability to root cause for solutions
- Ability to travel up to 30% of the time
