The role
Responsibilities include overseeing annual testing, audits, and the continuous improvement of recovery strategies. In this capacity, the identified candidate along will be responsible for the effort on 135+ business critical applications/tools DR planning and testing across EY Technology (excluding the GDCs and Data room plans under Platform Management). Additionally, the responsibilities include managing a few Vendor App DR exercises also.
Your key responsibilities
Key responsibilities would include:
- ·BCM & DR Strategy Development: Maintain EY’s global BC & DR framework, policies, and procedures to align with ISO 27001, ISO 22301, BSI, SOC, and other industry standards
- ·Work with the team to define recovery strategies based on Business Impact Analysis (BIA) and risk assessments for new in-scope applications
- ·Manage the BCM & DR governance model, ensuring resilience across IT systems, applications, and critical processes.
- ·Drive the DR tabletop exercises, Critical Business Application (CBAS) DR exercises, and crisis simulations
- ·Maintain the in-scope application DR plans
- ·Oversee annual DR failover exercises, conduct post-exercise reviews for all DR testing activities
- ·Manage vendor DR plans, ensuring third-party recovery plans are aligned with EY’s resilience objectives
- ·Lead the periodic BCM walkthroughs with stakeholders to validate ET’s critical process recovery plans
- ·Ensure effective incident response planning, monitoring critical incidents (P1), and providing real-time guidance during crisis
- ·Work on the country level BCM plans, conduct the periodic reviews and publish among key stakeholders
- ·Ensure compliance with EY regulatory requirements (EY GCoC)
- ·Take part in internal and external audits, ensuring all DR plans and BCM documents are up to date
- ·Maintain records and update Archer GRC with latest BCM, DR plans, and post-exercise reports
- ·Participate in CAB meetings, regulatory reviews, and IT resilience strategy discussions
- ·Conduct BCDR awareness sessions, roadshows, and leadership presentations

Skills and attributes for success
- ·Well experienced in managing key Stakeholder relationships, including Senior Management.
- ·In-depth knowledge of disaster recovery and business continuity frameworks and methodologies
- ·Technical knowledge of IT infrastructure, cloud services, data management practices, etc.
- ·Proven experience in leading BCM maturity assessments and audits
- ·Proficiency in project management and organizational skills
- ·Ability to assess and prioritize risks effectively and develop actionable plans
- ·Ability to team well with others and to understand and integrate cultural differences and work with cross cultural teams
- ·Flexibility to adjust to multiple demands, shifting priorities, ambiguity, and rapid change
- ·Experience in communicating to all levels of management, clients and vendors
- ·Experience in developing and executing reporting strategies
- ·Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment

To qualify for the role, you must have
- ·Bachelor or Master’s degree in Information Technology / Engineering
- Experience:
- ·7 – 10+ years of relevant experience in Service Delivery
