PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES

Beyond this, the role of the Cash Collections organization is enriched with other responsibilities as well – such as look after any accounting (e.g. EHF accounting policy), reporting, process, and tools related topics.

and mainly responsible for Receivables Management related to customers and partners located in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. We divide responsibilities in two areas, Collections Management (including Dispute Management related invoice complaints) and our Center of Expertise responsible for closing- and Accounting relevant topics.

what finally needs to be collected by Cash Collections. That means we need to enforce standardization and automation to become and stay volume-ready. Our goal is to reduce the number of complaints with an increasing number of created invoices.

EXPECTATIONS AND TASKS

  • - / Financialsuccess– drive attainment of Cash Flow Targets (cash collected, collection effectiveness index, DSO, dispute cycle time and % of exceptions), contribute to a positive customer experience through an effective customer segmentation and services provided; be accountable for effective and efficient delivery of daily operations; own the relationship with our customers and business partners (incl. the right level of communication, resolution of customers’ problems, de-escalation, etc.); build strong partnership with the business leaders providing collection and payment behavior insights to drive healthy customer relationship; improve the customer satisfaction.
  • Operational success– lead and own the initiatives to improve the operational excellence in the Cash Collections organization; be a role model for innovative and agile approaches; drive process optimizations and enhance team’s productivity. Overseeing daily operations of the collections team and adjusting AR analysts’ portfolios. Monitoring and facilitating collections of SAP receivables. Identifying potential receivable risks and guiding team members through resolution.Use Continuous improvement approach to get things better. Ensure compliance with internal control systems, act as a contact person for audits and all compliance topics.

WORK EXPERIENCE

  • Minimum of 5 years of professional experience.
  • Previous working experience in the Finance and GFSS organization (Deal Support, Order-to-Invoice, Cash Collections) is preferred.
  • Very good process understanding
  • Experienced in managing a team and proven track of record in successful project management.
  • Experience in driving significant change to reliable business outcomes and high employee satisfaction.
  • Willingness to travel and to participate in customer meetings.

EDUCATION AND QUALIFICATIONS/ SKILLS AND COMPETENIES

  • Strong business acumen & knowledge about SAP’s portfolio, products and organizational structure.
  • Preferred SAP knowledge in FI/CO/SD/ILP/DM/CM, CRM, PRM, Cloud Reporting, Netweaver, Dispute Management, Collection Management, Customer Blocking Tool.
  • Very good MS-Office skills (Excel, Word and Power Point)
  • Excellent program management skills with ability to drive complex strategic projects independently.
  • Fluent English and German language skills is a must
