Purpose Statement

Based on the sales field, the key responsibilities of Clinical Specialist include providing clinical insights on the product, procedure and protocol driving business growth and developing new opportunities to increase sales at Boston Scientific Interventional Oncology team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Actively promote key products through providing comprehensive clinical solutions and having effective collaboration with sales and marketing team.
  • Provides ongoing clinical education and a conceptual procedure to maximize Interventional Oncology product’s features & benefits as well as serves as a primary resource for a clinical support in the designated accounts.
  • Develops and implements sales& marketingstrategies by determining the relevant factors (e.g., products, procedures and competitors) of existing and potential accounts to effectively promote the company's products.
  • Builds and manages strong and long-lasting relationships with customers and their stakeholders in assigned territory to ensure appropriate product positioning.
  • Responds to customer requirements and seeks their hidden needs regarding products and service by developing feasible solutions or working with other related personnels (e.g. clinical research, customer management and marketing strategy.
  • Observes actual procedures in assigned accounts to gain both practical and academic insights from operators and physician assistants.
  • Proactively cultivates a customer base, continuously prospects for new customers, and persuasively introduces and positions our products in order to ensure sustainable sales growth.

Basic Requirements

  • Passion to learn and dedicate to improve patient’s lives.
  • Good written and verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • 4 ~ 7 years of working knowledge/experience in medical devices/pharm preferred (especially in Peripheral intervention, Interventional oncology, Hepatology, Gastroenterology and General Oncology)

Preferable Requirements

  • Good verbal and written communication skills in Englishpreferred
  • Good computer proficiency (MS Office – Word, Excel and Outlook) preferred
