U.S. Bank is seeking the position of Agilist in Atlanta, GA.
Essential Responsibilities:
The Agilist will be responsible for acting as a leader as part of an Agile team to deliver high value software solutions that contribute to the success of our technology initiatives in an agile environment. In addition, this role provides overall guidance for team to adhere to Agile principles and practices. Specific duties include:
Lead Scrum teams in Agile methodology and Scrum practices while continuously coaching teams to higher levels of maturity.
Facilitate team-level product increment planning, sprint planning, goal setting, and commitment to deliverables and providing daily support to Scrum teams and ensure full software development lifecycle (SDLC) practices are understood and practiced on assigned teams.
Interface with Product Owners and peer product teams to drive delivery of cross-team solutions.
Perform risk, scope, planning and reporting functions to meet goals.
Facilitate Sprint Planning, Backlog Refinement, Daily Stand-Ups, Reviews/Demos.
Lead team retrospectives to capture feedback and drive continuous improvement.
Support the RTE in planning readiness and execution for the quarterly plan (PI).
Track and communicate the KPIs and sprint/PI progress/reports to business leadership.
Work with Product Manager to define software release plan and scope with appropriate leads.
Facilitate Release of Code to Production by coordinating with Product Management, Dev team and DevOps.
Create store procedures and required database scripts using Toad for Oracle.
Design and create User-Defined SQL queries for extracting the data from source systems and create new reports and update existing report as per business requirement and practices using SQL, MS Excel and Tableau.
Basic Qualifications:
This position requires a Master’s degree or equivalent in Information Technology and Management or Computer Science and three years of Scrum Master experience.
