What you will do
The Researcher will utilize both Qualitative and Quantitative methodologies that meld business owner/ PM objectives and continuous user research into a compelling user experience. Duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Field User Research, remote/web-based user research, and lab user research planning and scheduling.
Work as part of a larger multi-disciplinary team that includes Product Managers, business owners, designers and engineers to understand objectives and goals of user research studies.
Design studies which measure usability to elicit customer requirements for design changes and new features.
Design and conduct comprehensive competitive usability assessments with controlled variables
Design formative and summative experiments to measure specific usability goals including definition of participant profiles, statistical counter balancing and selections of key tasks.
Design usability studies that can test UI building blocks and determine risk level of design decisions.
Develop detailed research plans, studies, and reports for research initiatives to the design team and management.
Accurately collect and record formative data without introducing experimental observer bias.
Analyze and optimize usage scenarios of existing Ux tools. Integrate User experience methods into SAP development process(es) / Assess and refine existing user experience processes, tools, and methods.
Synthesize and transform user requirements into formal use cases or models for existing or totally new product areas (“white space analysis”) to improve SAP products.
Write, review and approve complete research reports, and verbally present the results of analyses, observations and studies to executives.
Develop, contribute to, and maintain a persona repository understandable and accessible by all project stakeholders.
Analyze and optimize usage scenarios of existing Ux tools. Integrate UCD methods into SAP dev process(es) / Assess and refine existing UCD processes, tools, and methods.
Evangelize User Research value and principles to stakeholders.
Translate research findings into actionable insights to help guide the product direction and team.
Actively contribute to product brainstorming and design sessions.
What you will do
Minimum of a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as HCI or psychology. A Master's degree or PhD degree is highly preferred.
2 to 5 years of experience in user experience research preferably with B2B and/or large-scale applications.
Experience working with customers & users located in countries in Asia, Europe and US
All candidates must provide samples of recent work.
Deep understanding of user qualitative and quantitative experience research methodologies.
Strong analytical skills for qualitative and quantitative data.
Strong communication skills with the ability to listen and articulate positions.
Experience working with development and product owners to redefine prior existing products.
(Preferred) Previous experience working on solutions in supply chain, finance, sales, marketing, or commerce.
Experience working with Agile/Lean UX methodologies
