Initially, the candidate will assist with providing solutions and delivering projects for Clients while growing their technical skillset. Responsibilities
- Highway design including horizontal and vertical alignment, intersection layout, drainage, traffic signals, three-dimensional modeling, cross sections, quantities, and cost estimates.
- Construction inspection of local transportation projects.
- Preparation of associated calculations,reports, and spreadsheets.
- Working with design teams in all aspects of a given project to develop detailed design documents for construction plans.
- Conduct criteria research, write non-standard specifications, and assist with permitting.
- B.S. in Civil Engineering.
- Previous internship experience preferred.
- EIT is strongly preferred.
- Experience with MicroStation or AutoCAD and Microsoft office.
- Experience with Open Roads Designer, Geopak, InRoads, and / or Civil 3D is a plus.
- Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
