Principal HR People Partner/ HR Manager, GEM Central
As a Principal HR People Partner/ HR Manager for GEM Central subregion (Turkey, Central Asia, Pakistan), you will act as an advisor and coach to people leaders and employees to drive workforce performance, providing support in the areas including but not limited to talent, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness.
Your responsibilities:
•Advise & coach managers regarding complex HR topics providing front-line support in the areas including but not limited to talent, employee engagement, organizational effectiveness, and change management. Deliver high-quality HR advisory to people leaders and enable them to strengthen their people leadership skills.
•Work collaboratively with the wider GEM and EMEA People Partner team to support activities in other regions.
•Manage and execute cyclical processes (Talent Review, Calibration, CMS, ESOP) and complex programs (career & succession planning, etc.). Advise and consult on global HR policies, programs and procedures (development assignment, service awards, compensation consulting).
•Drive the deployment of HR services that are required to be executed at a local level such as Employee labor relations, disciplinary & investigation activities, performance review (PIPs), long-term sickness, exit interviews.
•Perform transactional HR advisory support and participate in HR projects/events and programs as well as improvement initiatives and business events.
•Collaborate with Centre of Excellence (CoEs) and HR Service Delivery (HRSD) on recruitment, remuneration, local development, training, and facilitation (e.g., onboarding sessions, insights session, new leader assimilations, etc.)
•Manage complex escalations for sensitive HR topics or exceptions (e.g., performance, behavioral, management issues, misconduct etc.)
•Strategic Business Partner to Regional Director and leadership team. Actively seek to understand the business context and contribute to decision-making. Develop initiatives that enhance employee motivation, satisfaction, and commitment.
•Assist in managing organizational change by providing guidance and communication support. Navigate and facilitate change processes within the org. Help employees navigate and adapt to changes in the workplace.
Local specific responsibilities:
•Coaching business leaders and providing programmatic HR support to the Country Leadership Team. Establish internal relationships with relevant stakeholders such as Finance, Legal, HR COEs
•Support with the regional onboarding of new hires
•Support with the monthly payroll activities – data submission, check and approval.
•Working closely with HR Service delivery team to make sure all the required HR admin needs are met
•Leading and/or assisting in implementing, maintaining and improving local HR services, systems, procedures and/or policies, ensuring employment law & data privacy compliance
•First level support with local questions regarding labor law, processes etc.
•Collaborating with TA on Talent Programs and Career Fairs
•Preparation and support external & internal audits.
•Working closely with Total Rewards team and driving participation in local salary surveys, making sure relevant pay approach is used and the specific of local market is met.
•Being part of local committees driving implementation of D&I initiatives and employee engagement, as well as leading with integrity in promoting organizational values and culture.
What Are We Looking For:
•Bachelor degree and related certification preferred
•Successful experience in supporting operational HR for hybrid organization.
•At least years of relevant experience in multinational organization, Medtech and Pharma experience preferred.
•Proven experience as an HR generalist or equivalent experience ideally within commercial organization
•Successful experience with a strong social relations dimension
•Experience in matrix/complex environment Experience with cross divisional and cross functional scope
•Experience in managing labour relations and negotiating with employee representative bodies.
•Strong influencing skills, ability to explore complex challenges in collaborative manner to establish viable and consistent action plans.
•Experience working in hybrid organization.
•Strong team player, result and people-oriented approach
