Purpose of the position

As a key member of the EMEA GES Project Execution organization, reporting to the Global Engineering Solutions (GES) Area Director, this role plays a crucial part in the successful execution of a diverse portfolio of projects across our API, Biologics, Vaccines, and Animal Health network. Initially focused on supporting capital projects at the Boxmeer facility, there is potential for future opportunities to contribute to projects across the European region.

As a Project Manager, you will provide expertise in project engineering for either a single large project or a portfolio of medium-sized projects throughout the various phases of our project lifecycle. This includes the concept stage, Basis of Design, detailed design, construction, and C&Q. Collaboration and communication are key, as you will interface with the GES organization, business stakeholders, and other key partners to ensure the successful delivery of projects.

You will also work closely with established service providers and partners within our panel of companies, specifically in the areas of detailed Engineering, Procurement, and Construction Management capabilities. Your profile

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering, preferably Chemical or Mechanical.

• At least five years of relevant work experience, ideally within the pharmaceutical industry. Experience in related fields such as Oil and Gas, Biotech, or Chemical is also of interest.

• Have experience delivering small to medium-sized capital projects.

• Strong stakeholder management skills with an understanding of the customer relationship, capable of dealing with site senior stakeholders, and with the management of engineering companies required for successful completion of a portfolio of small to medium projects

• Proven knowledge, appreciation and experience of working in a strongly regulated GMP environment.

• Experience in Lean Project Delivery Methodologies (i.e. target value design/delivery, off-site fabrication, pull planning scheduling tools) considered a plus.

• This position is located at Boxmeer, Netherlands, but may require to be available to travel 25% of your time.
