Your Career

The Events Security Manager is responsible for coordinating the planning, staffing, and administration of events in the EMEA region as well as across other continents where needed. The Coordinator must have a strong understanding of interpersonal relationships, security event management, and organizational skills. They must also be able to support other projects and initiatives under the Event Security program. This role reports directly to the Global Event Security Sr Manager and will focus on the following:

Your Impact

  • The position reports to the Global Events Security Sr Manager and works cross functionally with the rest of the security department and relevant stakeholders
  • Partner closely with internal business stakeholders to build out globally scalable solutions focused on the Event Security program
  • Provide friendly, professional, and exceptional customer service while maintaining a safe and secure environment for our employees and guests
  • Reply to and complete all incoming requests via the company’s ticketing system, or requests that come via in-person, email, phone, or Slack messages
  • Along with the Global Events Sr Security Manager, leads company events through all phases from pre-planning until completion of the event
  • Along with the Global Events Sr Security Manager, leads contract security workforce through partnership with vendor supervisors and management
  • Along with the Global Events Sr Security Manager, be available 24x7 in the event of an emergency while on assignment for an event
  • Complete all documentation required for the successful completion of company events

Your Experience

  • Ability to convey a professional image, and effectively represent the organization in its relationship with employees, vendors, and executives
  • Bachelor’s degree required/Master’s degree preferred – with broad exposure to both security and safety-related requirements, as well as strong business acumen skills or equivalent military experience required
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in corporate office environmental influencers, to include safety and security cultural requirements
  • Ability to build the workplace program with growth and change in mind - Capable of leading the efforts to differentiate our offices from other companies, from the perspective of both customers and employees
  • Exceptional time management skills and a proven track record of meeting deadlines
  • Astute attention to detail skills and identify critical issues quickly and accurately
  • In depth knowledge of Microsoft Office and G-Suite
  • Work efficiently with minimal supervision
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to work efficiently with cross-functional teams and manage numerous projects simultaneously under deadline pressure
  • Flexibility and willingness to work on a broad variety of contractual and related matters
  • Comfortable with ambiguity
  • Ability to travel between 25% to 50% of the time within the EMEA region
