We are looking for a passionate and dedicated Senior HSE Manager to support Energy & Power project portfolio. You’ll serve as a business partner working with Client HSE and Senior stakeholders, and Jacobs HSE Managers, Project Managers and Construction Managers to lead HSE excellence and deliver project and initiatives ensuring no worker injuries or negative impacts to our client’s business continuity.
- Provide leadership on HSE and risk management procedures for the project portfolio.
- Support and execute projects internal audit program for HSE system & legal compliance.
- Support and coach the development of office, project site and client based BeyondZero committees.
- Coordinate the requirements of ISO45001 and HSE-related CDM regulations through the business systems and processes.
- Provide the metrics report for project & regional safety performance.
- Coordinate project HSE training and competency records.
- Responsibility for timely incident reporting and investigation in accordance with corporate BMS requirements.
- Monitor audit corrective action close out performance.
- Ensure HSE reviews are completed on relevant suppliers in accordance with corporate BMS processes.
- Delivery of all HSE communications processes across the region.
- Contribute to the Wellbeing and Beyond Zero program, including culture surveys and proactive measures to support employee wellbeing and BZ strategy rollout.
- Engage with a number of stakeholders across Jacobs in various operational and functional areas.
- Cost and control costs associated with HSE programs, training and consumables.
- Regional Performance – Incident rates, training completion rates and other E&P HSE Strategy KPI’s in line with BU targets.
- Leading metric based on engagement of leadership and E&P Europe personnel.
- Contribution to the wider Business Unit HSE team.
What you'll need
- NEBOSH, National Diploma in Occupational Health & Safety
- Bachelor of Science/Engineering or equivalent
- Min. 5 years employed as HSE Manager
- Expertise in UK CDM regulations
- Expertise in supervision of HSE Governance
- Expertise in conducting internal and external audits and inspections
