Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field is required
  • At least 8 years of experience in software development, with experience managing managers and leading engineering teams, ideally with a focus on text input systems or multimodal interfaces
  • Familiarity with machine learning tools and methodologies
  • Proven track record as a user experience-obsessed product owner, with a passion for delivering intuitive, user experiences that delight users
  • Proven success collaborating with cross-functional partners, especially design teams, to ensure that product development is aligned with both technical feasibility and design excellence
  • Proven ability to drive inclusive team culture, ensuring diversity of thought, background, and experience, with a commitment to building accessible software for all users.
  • Strong leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to guide teams through complex technical challenges and make decisions with a broad Apple-wide perspective.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) preferred
  • Experience working on AR/VR platforms, with a focus on text input and multimodal interaction.
  • Familiarity with large language models (LLMs), AI driven text generation, natural language processing (NLP), with practical experience implementing these technologies in text input systems.
Pay & Benefits
  • At Apple, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. This provides the opportunity to progress as you grow and develop within a role. The base pay range for this role is between $219,300 and $378,700, and your base pay will depend on your skills, qualifications, experience, and location.Note: Apple benefit, compensation and employee stock programs are subject to eligibility requirements and other terms of the applicable plan or program.
