As a Cloud Billing Operations Manager, you will play a critical role in managing and optimizing our cloud billing processes and operations. This leadership position requires a deep understanding of cloud technology, financial operations of a SAAS business, scaling through Marketplaces & via Hyerscalers and strong ability to lead, influence and collaborate with cross functional teams.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Work with the Director of the Cloud Billing Operations team to develop and execute a strategic vision for the team in alignment with the organization’s goals and objectives
  • Lead the development of cloud billing policies, procedures and best practices to drive efficiency, effectiveness and customer satisfaction
  • Key stakeholder and project leader in implementation of evolving and new Cloud commercial models
  • Build and manage a high performing team
  • Collaborate with various teams including Support, Legal, OrderOps, Engineering etc. on escalated billing & contract issues to resolve customer disputes and their billing issues
  • Leverage internal AI technology and documentation to achieve faster customer disputes resolutions
  • Work with the Cloud Billing Engineering and Product teams to provide customer case intelligence and drive scalable solutions
  • Share responsibilities within the Cloud Billing Operations team to support/back up cloud billing process, invoicing, suspension, termination, bad debt and marketplace cash application from various public cloud platforms
  • Understand the current business systems and workflows to drive projects that improve customers’ billing experience and help us make proactive process improvements

If that's you, hopefully you also have:

  • 7+ years of professional experience in billing operations, FP&A(Financial Planning & Analysis) or related financial operations, with at least 2 years as a people manager
  • Good understanding of cloud technologies (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google) and cloud billing models.
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written; ability to interact with customers and other teams
  • Strong attention-to-detail
  • Creative problem solving skills
  • Strong ability to work independently and prioritize in distributed, dynamic, fast-paced environment
  • Accustomed to working with case management system

  • Proficiency in MS Excel or Google Spreadsheet

Bonus Points:

  • Experience with Netsuite, Salesforce, Stripe
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Basic proficiency in a SQL / Query language and/or Excel Macros
