Wix Technical Designer Team Lead - Templates

In this role you’ll play a vital role in the Templates team management, defining a clear technical workflow, overseeing design standards, and managing strategy and ongoing tasks for the templates tech-design team. You’ll also:

• Lead and mentor a team of tech-designers, guiding their growth, skill development, and creative output
• Build, work on and manage various tech-design projects and websites that reach millions of users every day
• Use your in-depth knowledge of the Wix platform to make sure the team provides high quality materials that are consistent with product and company guidelines
• Oversee and improve the design and technical process by keeping up with the latest Wix feature releases, as well as what’s happening in the industry
• Work with operations, product managers, visual experts, designers and QA teams to fully understand requirements, and bridge gaps between technical issues, accessibility and product limitations, to deliver the best solutions for templates
• Be the team expert on Wix products, our template creation work methods and our team’s QA practices and rules
• Ensure the templates we create are not only well-designed, but also top-notch digital products with great performance, interactions, and behaviors
• Develop innovative new work methods to help maximize efficiency in the team
