As a Senior Release Engineer, you'll develop automation and release procedures and practices for our mobile and desktop applications and cloud services. As a Senior Release Engineer, you will be responsible for:
- Providing technical expertise on release process and management
- Designing and implementing tools and pipelines that help automate builds and releases
- Managing and facilitating engineering and release plans, execution and workflows
- Communicating your designs and implementation within the team and across other groups across the company effectively
- Collaborating with other software engineering teams to influence and shape the design process and product development
Do what you love
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have 15 years of relevant experience and a Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or related field
- Have considerable experience with scripting languages such as Python, Bash or Groovy
- Have deep experience with building Docker and Kubernetes applications
- Be skilled with Continuous Integration tools (i.e. Jenkins) and version control software (i.e. Git, Perforce)
- Possess an understanding of working with orchestration and configuration frameworks such as Ansible, Puppet or Chef
