As a Security and Compliance Solutions Architect at AWS, you’ll build technical relationships with customers of all sizes and operate as their trusted advisor, ensuring they get the most out of the cloud at every stage of their journey.You’ll manage the overall technical security relationship between AWS and our customers, making recommendations on security, compliance, cost, performance, reliability, and operational efficiency to accelerate their challenging projects.Internally, you will be the voice of the customer, sharing their needs and wants to inform the roadmap of AWS security services and features.You will Participate in the creation and sharing of best practices, technical content and new reference architectures (e.g. white papers, code samples, blog posts) and evangelize and educate about AWS technology (e.g. through workshops, user groups, meetups, public speaking, online videos, or conferences).
You will also have to manage the relationship with selected top Security partners of AWS, including ISV and GSI.You will be asked to lead some of the key team initiatives, including connecting to other geos security team to create synergies and share best practises.As a Security Specialist Solutions Architect (SA), you will help customers select the technologies that will support their business requirements. Part of the Specialist Solutions Architecture team, you will work closely with the other Specialist SAs on Big Data, Databases, Analytics, Artificial Intelligence, or Modern Applications Development, as well as the Business Development teams, to enable large-scale customer use cases and drive the adoption of AWS for their platforms. You will interact with other SAs, providing guidance on their customer engagements by developing white papers, blogs, reference implementations, and presentations to enable customers and 3rd parties to fully leverage the AWS platform. You will also create field enablement materials for the broader SA population, to help them understand how to integrate AWS solutions into customer architectures.

- Working knowledge of cloud native security architectures and implementing AWS services
- In-depth working knowledge in technology domain such as data protection, threat detection, edge security, and compliance or knowledge of a modern programming language (Python, JavaScript, Go, .Net, Rust, Java, etc.) and/or scripting, Infrastructure as Code etc.
- Experience working in a customer-facing role or a role which involved public speaking
- AWS certification (e.g. AWS Solutions Architect Associate, Security Speciality or Professional) or other industry certification (e.g. CISSP, CCSP, etc.)
- A background working in a regulated industry such as financial services, healthcare or defense with work managing a certification or accreditation (PCI-DSS, ISO 27001, C5...)
