The Senior Quality Supervisor supervises Engineering and/or Technician activities that directly or indirectly support production operations within the Metals Core Technology (MCT) business unit. Develops, establishes and maintains quality methodologies, systems, and practices which meet BSC, customer, and regulatory requirements. Identifies, coordinates, and assigns project priorities based on business and department objectives. Ensures implementation of assurances, process controls, and CAPA systems designed to meet or exceed internal and external requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Provides guidance and leadership to team of direct reports on workload management, priorities, and project execution.
  • Continuously develops direct reports through individual development planning processes.
  • Provides leadership to champion departmental or cross-functional initiatives. Provides direction, coaching, and mentoring to engineering and/or technical team personnel. Provides guidance on daily work priorities and sequence of activities in area of responsibility with direction from management.
  • Proactively investigates, identifies, and implements best-in-class quality practices.
  • Mentor for technical guidance in identifying and resolving quality issues using six sigma, lean, mistake proofing, and related tools/techniques.
  • Identifies and implements effective systems and process controls supporting the development, qualification, testing, measurement, or ongoing manufacturing of products.
  • Leads in the implementation of assurances, process controls, and CAPA systems. Acts as an effective leader or team member supporting quality disciplines, decisions, and practices.
  • Assures the development and execution of streamlined mistake proof business and production systems which effectively identify and resolve quality issues.
  • Partners with internal and external stakeholders and vendors to ensure quality objectives are met and to provide solutions to quality issues.
  • Assures activities and deliverables in area of responsibility meet regulatory and corporate requirements.
  • Focuses on continuous improvement by championing value improvement projects (VIP) and lean business practices (LBP).


Required qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree
  • Minimum of 5 years of related experience
  • Minimum of 1 year of director or indirect leadership experience

Preferred qualifications:

  • Strong verbal, written communication skills, both technical and conversational
  • Decision making and negotiation skills, individually and within groups
  • Experience in managing multiple projects across multiple organizational disciplines

Maximum Salary: $ 156900

Compensation fornon-exempt (hourly), non-sales rolesmay also include variable compensation from time to time (e.g., any overtime and shift differential) and annual bonus target (subject to plan eligibility and other requirements).
