Your key responsibilities

• Prepare asset, liability, and capital account entries by compiling and analyzing account information
• Summarizes current financial status by collecting information; preparing balance sheet, profit and loss statement, and other reports
• Document financial transactions for several legal entities
• Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analyzing account information
• Substantiate financial transactions by auditing documents and ensure that financial statements and records comply with laws and regulations
• Support external statutory and fiscal audits
• Guide accounting staff by coordinating activities, providing training, and answering questions
• Develop procedures and controls to ensure accuracy and standardize and/or simplify processes

To qualify for the role you must have

• You hold a Bachelor degree in Accounting
• You have 2 to 5 years of working experience in accounting with strong knowledge of BE GAAP and year-end closing
• You are fluent in French or Dutch and English as you will be communicating with our shared service center abroad
• Throughout your career you already gained experience in working with financial software and Excel
• You have are passionate about finance
• You are able to adapt quickly to changes and can handle multiple priorities concurrently
• You are analytical, accurate and have strong data-gathering skills

Ideally, you’ll also have

• Strong interpersonal skills, which makes you an great communicator
• Experience working in a multinational company with people scattered all over the world
