Conduct advanced data analysis to extract actionable insights that inform strategic decisions across various geographical markets.
Collaborate closely with the VP Global Markets and regional and country teams, providing data-driven insights to support strategic decisions.
Collect and analyze broad data from both internal and external sources to drive understanding of conversion rate, average daily rate, profitability, and rebooking rate.
Utilize econometric and statistical analysis to identify the root causes driving key business metrics and synthesize these insights at a higher level to aid prioritization.
Develop and maintain benchmarks for key performance indicators across different markets to measure and track performance.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Strategic Finance, Data and Analytical Engineering, and Data Science, to align strategies and leverage synergies.
Your Expertise:
6+ years of industry experience with a degree (Masters or PhD is a plus) in a quantitative field (e.g., Statistics, Econometrics, Computer Science, Engineering, Mathematics, Data Science, Operations Research).
Prior experience in advanced analytics or business data science within a marketplace or business strategy setting.
Deep understanding of econometric and statistical analysis, and experience in applying these skills to derive insights from broad data sets.
Exceptional business acumen, strategic thinking skills, and the ability to make informed judgments.
Excellent communication skills, capable of engaging with a variety of stakeholders and conveying complex concepts in an accessible manner.
Proven stakeholder management skills, with the ability to collaborate and influence across functions.
