Job Description
The position will report to the Associate Director, Communications & CSR.
Responsibilities:
- Develop, manage and implement corporate communication for internal and external audiences, including partners, media and healthcare consumers (executive visibility, corporate social media, employer branding, internal communications)
- Lead and supportcardiometabolic& infectious disease communications efforts, including internal communications, digital communications, and social media strategies.
- Manage the relationship with media including proactive issuing of press releases and management of all press enquiries.
- Develop and implement the digital corporate communications strategy to achieve corporate objectives.
- Develop and implement patient and patient community engagement activities in PAH & infectious diseases.
- Establish measures of success and implement relevant evaluation tools for communications activities.
- Work directly with PR agencies and help manage related budgets.
Requirements:
- 6+ years experience in public relations and/or marketing communications.
- PR agency experience.
- Creative and passionate professional with experience in the development and implementation of integrated communications programs.
- Strong project management skills
- Experience in internal and external communications, including executive communications and issues/crisis management.
- Strong media relations skills.
- Able to coordinate as part of cross functional teams
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
