What you'll do
- Serve as the bridge between category teams and the GPO TSG team, facilitating collaboration to improve daily procurement operations.
- Drive the initiation and prioritization of key business topics that benefit GPO, its internal customers, and external partners.
- Collaborate with teams, including Supplier Management & Governance, Sourcing Excellence Champions Team, and Partnering & Communications, to identify synergies and continuously improve procurement processes, procedures, systems, and tools across GPO.
- Act as a subject matter expert to ensure the accuracy, quality, and professionalism of all deliverables.
- Represent category interests in GPO initiatives while working in close alignment with broader strategic goals.
- Drive global procurement efficiency initiatives in cross-functional teams with a focus on General Procurement.
- Drive innovation, transformation, and improvements in procurement initiatives, embedding new processes, digitalization, and forward-thinking approaches within General Procurement.
- Seek continuous improvement of procurement performance through transformation efforts that focus on modernizing the procurement function and creating greater agility.
What you bring
- University degree preferably in Business & Administration, Supply Chain Management, Procurement, or equivalent work experience.
- 3+ years of experience in procurement or a related field, ideally with a focus on procurement operations and/or processes and systems.
- Fluent English (spoken and written).
- Strong ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and work collaboratively with various teams.
- Strong expertise in process improvement and procurement systems/tools.
- Excellent analytical skills, with the ability to collect, interpret, and analyze data to support decision-making, identify opportunities, and drive continuous improvement.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to build relationships, influence stakeholders, and drive change across the organization and with external suppliers.
- The candidate should be comfortable working in dynamic environments and capable of championing innovation, efficiency, and new ways of working within the team.
