About the role

Responsibilities:

  • Define and implement a comprehensive global experience strategy that aligns with PayPal Ads' business objectives and target audience needs.

  • Oversee the end-to-end planning and execution of a diverse portfolio of owned and sponsored experiences, including industry conferences, executive summits, thought leadership forums, and bespoke client experiences.

  • Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring cost-effective resource allocation and financial tracking.

  • Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including Sales, Marketing, Product, and Communications, to ensure seamless integration of experiences into broader marketing campaigns and initiatives.

  • Create indelible, intimate experiences that stand out for marketing, merchant and agency leadership

  • Establish robust measurement frameworks to track event performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and demonstrate return on investment (ROI).

  • Cultivate strategic partnerships with industry organizations, vendors, and agencies to optimize event execution and amplify reach.

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years in ad experiences & experiences

  • Successful track record building out strategies and executions from 0 to 1.

  • Creative thinker with a passion for big ideas, a dedication to delivering memorable event experiences, and a keen eye for design and brand.

  • Deep understanding of key advertising tentpole experiences such as CES, Cannes, Advertising Week, and more.

  • Strong understanding of the advertising industry and its key players, including advertisers, agencies, and publishers.

  • Excellent project management and organizational skills, with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Exceptionalrelationship-buildingskills with internal and external stakeholders.

  • Fluent financial and business acumen with the ability to manage budgets, negotiate with vendors, and forecast accurately.

  • Travel required, as necessary, for customer-facing activities and team collaboration.

  • Recognize and understand critical cultural approaches to doing business globally
