• You will be the key Menomonie contact for a family of products within the Extrusion, Tapes, & CeramicsValue Stream. This Value Stream serves a variety of 3M Products across several 3MBusinesses, including Personal Care products, Industrial, Medical, Automotive & Aerospace,Traffic Safety, and Consumer.
• You will be responsible for strong leadership in driving EHS&R alignment, with the support of theplant Safety organization related to the products & its raw materials (TSCA, IH, etc.).•Plant lead for the scaleup of New Product Introductions & Management of Change qualificationsthat will impact your products. In this lead role you will drive communication, risk evaluation, toexecute on product improvements for our customers, utilizing appropriate product changemanagement processes.
• This role will be responsible for Product Quality. This includes maintaining customer alignmentand leadership around proactive quality improvements. This includes driving customercompliance and corrective action in alignment with plant and specific product quality managementsystems with the support of the Plant Quality Team. Through your division and customerconnections you will align and translate Voice of Customer into measurable specifications andtest methods for product development and manufacturing
• Lead product improvement utilizing the LSS methodology towards improvements in unit costreduction, PPU &, quality improvements - from RM to Customer with support from the processand quality teams. This includes leading supplier management as it relates to the quality of your

Your Skills and Expertise
To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M requires (at a minimum) the following qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in a science or engineering discipline (completed andverified prior to start) from an accredited institution
• Five (5) years experience ina private, public, government or military environment in one or more of the following areas:product engineering, process engineering, project engineering, project management, and/orresearch laboratory.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include:

• Has held positions in at least one manufacturing facility with minimum five (5) years ofexperience working in a manufacturing environment.
• Demonstrated results leading product specific improvements across multiple processes andteams
• Demonstrated results driving projects/initiatives related to product Quality Improvement, Unit CostModeling, and Cost Reduction projects.
• Technical experience in polymer film extrusion, web handling & converting
• Six Sigma Green Belt Certification
• Minimum three (3) years of experience utilizing statistical tools in problem solving is preferred
