Inventory Analyst

Description -

As an Inventory Analyst, you will be responsible for analyzing inventory data to detect slow-moving or obsolete stock, working closely with planning, procurement, and finance teams to minimize the impact of excess stock, and implementing strategies to optimize inventory levels.

You will be responsible for monitoring stock levels, analyzing trends, and providing actionable insights through data visualization in Tableau.

Responsibilities:

  • Leading cross-organization activities to reduce inventory and monitor Inventory levels
  • Creating interactive dashboards in Tableau to visualize key inventory metrics for the planning section.
  • Owning Inventory KPIs and setting targets within the team and across the organization to meet the financial goals on Inventory.
  • Provide detailed, actionable insights to management and other stakeholders on inventory risks and opportunities for reduction.
  • Support inventory control and process improvement initiatives to reduce E&O risks in the future.

Requirements:

  • BSc in industrial & management engineering or equivalent
  • 2-3 years of experience in Inventory analysis/ planning/operations/supply chain
  • High analytical skills and ability to work with advanced analysis BI tools (preferred tableau)
  • Excellent interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent English - writing, speaking & reading
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to identify trends, inefficiencies, and opportunities for improvement in inventory management.
  • Ability to work independently, and collaboratively in cross-functional teams
  • highly organized with the ability to meet deadlines

The position is defined for a two-year period with an option for extension.
