will have the opportunity to work within many aspects of our municipal water/wastewater treatment market. You will work in multidisciplinary teams, supporting Process Engineers, Project Managers, and Contract Administrators. You will support Process Engineers by preparing models, technical reports, support in the development of preliminary/detailed design documents, engineering specifications, and perform calculations in support of Engineering activities. You will support Project Managers by preparing invoices, developing quality management plans, and assisting with design coordination activities. You will support Contract Administrators by reviewing Contractor submittals, reviewing Contractor work for compliance with contract documents, and more. You will have an opportunity to expand your skillset through assisting intermediate and senior staff, and will work as small as scoping studies and as large as multi-disciplinary treatment plant upgrades.

You will be working from home (unless you prefer coming into the office), with the expectation that you come to the Ottawa office a minimum of two times per week. You may also be required to travel locally for client meetings.

Here's what you'll need
  • Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, or other related Engineering discipline.
  • 0 to 2 years of experience delivering water/wastewater projects for municipalities.
  • Proficient in Windows based software (e.g. word, excel, powerpoint, visio).
  • Ability to self-motivate and work productively without supervision.
  • Strong analytical, conceptual, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
  • Working towards P.Eng. designation with Professional Engineers Ontario.
