We are currently looking for anto join ourand take part in exciting and engaging water infrastructure projects of varying size and complexity.- Large and small diameter watermains and sewers- Distribution and collection networks- Pipe RehabilitationAs ayou will be responsible for supporting overall work progress and technical performance on the projects. Working with other members of our team, you'll work closely with business group project delivery leadership or other senior project manager/operations leaders who provide oversight and mentoring.
- Engineering Calculations (e.g. hydraulics, pipe design, fittings and reinforcement, material and equipment selection)- Technical Memos, Reports, and Specifications- Alignment selection- Chamber/Station layout and design
You’ll be expected to be in the office on average 2 days a week, with the expectation to travel for client /site meetings and occasional team meetings.
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil/Environmental Engineering (or applicable discipline and/or equivalent experience).• Licensed (or eligible to be licensed) as a professional engineer in the Province of Ontario• Minimum 2-5 years’ experience in an engineering consulting environment.• Understanding of relevant American Water Works Association (AWWA) and Hydraulic Institute Standards (HIS) an asset• Experience designing large diameter linear infrastructure an asset• Experience designing municipal projects including pipelines, pump stations, an asset
• Experience designing using Autodesk, Microstation, hydraulic modelling software an asset
• Excellent communication, time management and organizational skills.• Excellent report writing skills.
