Responsibilities:

  • Analyze existing Product Data Management (PDM) system processes to identify efficiency bottlenecks; lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system performance and data management workflows.
  • Develop and maintain libraries for both standard and non-standard product data components; generate and uphold standardized data models to facilitate effective collaboration within design and engineering teams.
  • Collaborate with design, development, quality, and supply chain teams to ensure that the data management systems comply with industry standards and safety regulations (e.g., OSHA, ISO).
  • Oversee project management from concept to implementation, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery; prepare system design documentation, data workflows, and testing reports.
  • Resolve technical issues related to the PDM system and provide on-site support; continuously monitor emerging technologies and industry trends.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • Over 3 years of experience in PDM system development, with a solid understanding of product data management, software development, and documentation.
  • Proficient with PDM systems and their applications.
  • Skilled in using software development tools and integrating applications across multiple platforms.
  • Ability to coordinate cross-functional teams under pressure to achieve objectives.
  • Familiarity with IT trends such as cloud computing and IoT, as well as programming languages including Python, C++, Java, and SQL.
  • Experience in web application development; knowledge of the Angular framework is an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
  • Proficiency in English communication is preferred.
