How you’ll spend your day

EA Practice Management

  • Develop the EA practice and team, creating value propositions and service offerings.
  • Design the EA operating model, balancing enterprise risk and agility.

Strategy Formulation and Execution

  • Collaborate with IT and business stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans.
  • Connect strategy to execution by aligning IT and business goals.

Innovation Facilitation

  • Identify and refine technological innovations and trends.
  • Implement new technologies and conduct trials to integrate successful innovations.

Relationship Building

  • Establish the EA function as an advisory entity within Teva.
  • Manage cross-functional relationships and provide strategic advice.

IT Portfolio Management

  • Support IT portfolio modernization and roadmap development.
  • Ensure alignment with EA while optimizing technologies and methodologies.
Your experience and qualifications
  • A master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science, electrical engineering, system analysis, business, or another related area.
  • Over ten years of IT and architectural team experience within medium to large companies.
  • Minimum of four years in a lead role, such as head of Enterprise Architecture (EA) or Chief Architect, in medium to large enterprises, including managing the EA group.
  • More than ten years’ experience across at least three disciplines including, but not limited to, business, solution, or technical architecture, application development, middleware, data analysis, database management, cloud operations within a complex environment.
  • At least three years of expertise in public cloud technologies like Azure and AWS, Data Lakes, Data Warehouses in the cloud, as well as both Traditional AI and Generative AI.
  • Considerable history of working with global tech vendors and startups alike, demonstrating a strong track record in technology evaluation and assessment.
  • Considerable history of applications portfolio management
  • Knowledge of business models, operating models, financial models, cost-benefit and trade-off analysis, budgeting, and risk management.
  • Knowledge of business ecosystems, software as a service (SaaS), infrastructure as a service (IaaS), platform as a service (PaaS), SOA, APIs, open data, microservices, event-driven IT, predictive analytics, AI and GenAI.
  • Familiarity with information management practices, system development life cycle management, IT services management, agile and lean methodologies, infrastructure and operations, and EA and ITIL frameworks.
  • Understanding of the different types of agile principles, methodologies and frameworks, especially those designed to be scaled at enterprise level.
  • Understanding of existing, new and emerging technologies, such as generative AI and its applications.
  • Knowledge of all components of EA, business and IT principles, and processes.
  • Familiarity with EA tools, graphical modeling approaches and repository management.
  • Excellent analytical, planning and organizational skills.
  • Excellent written, verbal, communication and presentation skills, with the ability to articulate new ideas and concepts to technical and nontechnical audiences.
  • Strong leadership and consulting skills.
  • Ability to balance long-term and short-term organizational goals.
  • Innovative and collaborative, with a vendor-neutral approach.
