Responsibilities:
Develops strategic direction of the Architecture function to harmonize with overall business / technology objectives.
Develops target state architecture and implements strong architectural governance for design, build and deployment of new applications and services.
Builds the shared services platform vision, strategy, and execution plan for securities services business lines.
Accountable for Architecture and shared services budgeting, resourcing, stakeholder management and delivery.
Drives standardisation of tech stack, shared services, adoption of DevSecOps tooling and improves times to market.
Involved in both internal and external negotiations which will have a major impact on the area managed and possibly on other related areas and the organization as a whole.
Exhibits sound understanding of theories and practices in architecture and multiple related areas.
Has in depth knowledge of how technology integrates within the organization and of direct competitors products and services.
Build SRE principles and blueprints into the development pipeline and significantly improve time to detect and time to resolve incidents.
Interfaces with each lines of business, service providers and Citi internal partners to assess their technology assets and guide their product roadmap based on securities services requirements.
Provides thought leadership in architecture, new technologies including cloud, Gen AI, digital assets and enable business with competitive advantage.
Assesses risks during architectural decisions, building client solutions, enables problem solving and enables data driven decision making.
Effectively communicates securities services target state architecture to stakeholders across the organization, clients and regulators.
Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency, as well as effectively supervise the activity of others and create accountability with those who fail to maintain these standards
Qualifications:
Experience technology application development and architecture
Experience as a Senior architect or enterprise architect in securities services preferred
Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication
Management and prioritization skills
Ability to develop working relationships.
Ability to manage multiple activities and changing priorities, work under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
Self-starter with ability to take the initiative and master new tasks quickly
Methodical, attention to detail
Experience with hybrid cloud and multi-cloud environments
Familiarity with security and compliance best practices
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or Engineering, or related field or equivalent experience.
