Job responsibilities:
- Work with clients, internal front office, tech and operations stakeholders, and multiple other internal groups to gather and analyse client and business on-boarding requirements (product strategy) for Equities
- Manage JP Morgan’s industry leading cash equities product platforms and equities client on-boarding tasks including analytics and execution consulting for low latency clients’ flows
- Run independent analyses leveraging the firm’s and industry flow to develop and fine tune tech. strategy
- Work closely with cash equities desks to optimise and improve on-boarding workflows, latencies and execution costs, data and analytics
- Communicate concepts and ideas, also via documentation, and defend their validity and tailor messages to different audiences
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment of real-time Market pressures and easily remain focused on client needs
- Drive collaborative culture with stakeholders and team members
Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Experience in cash equities sales & cash trading flows – onboarding, data & analytics, and trading workflows
- Product management experience
- Experience of FIX (Financial Information eXchange) client on-boarding or support
- Experience of working with vendor systems and connectivity hubs
- Strong familiarity with Unix
Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills:
- Past experience of programming. Preferred technical skills – Python, Q/KDB or SQL
- Data science/Engineering background
